Arwen Deuss (1975) studied geophysics at Utrecht . After being awarded her PhD by the University of Oxford (UK), she went on to do research in Oxford, Cambridge and the California Institute of Technology. Since 2014 she has been Associate Professor of Seismology in Utrecht. In addition to an Ammodo KNAW Award she received an ERC New Investigators Grant and a Murchison Fund from the Geological Society of London.
